Restorative Resources Training and Consulting, LLC, provides individual, family, group and community-based psychotherapy; training and education; consultation related to clinical practice, organizational structure and management; and program development, implementation and evaluation, nationally and internationally, to people and organizations who serve survivors of extreme interpersonal trauma.
I am a licensed psychotherapist, registered dance movement therapist and public health professional with extensive experience in clinical service provision, program development and management (including evaluation) and training. I have worked clinically with survivors of organized violence, torture, war and combat related trauma, ritual abuse, domestic violence, and community violence for over eight years. I have worked in program development and management with survivors of human rights abuses for over twenty years. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, Body-Mind Psychotherapy, and Continuum, and I teach and provide training to professionals and paraprofessionals who work with survivors of extreme, interpersonal and social trauma worldwide who wish to integrate somatic, movement, and creative arts based therapies into their work.
Training, supervision, and consulting is provided for individuals, non-profit organizations and NGO’s who work with adult and child survivors of trauma. Areas of concentration include working with survivors of torture, war, genocide, mass trauma and conflict; working with refugees; innovative approaches for clinical practice; integrating local and cultural traditions and practices into the therapeutic process; community intervention; child trauma; the application of somatic and creative arts therapies to work with adult and child survivors of trauma.
